The Bishop of Fort Worth – The Rt. Reverend Jack L. Iker, D.D.

The Rt. Rev. Jack Leo Iker was consecrated as Bishop Coadjutor of The Episcopal Diocese of Fort Worth on April 24, 1993, and became Diocesan Bishop on January 1, 1995. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, he had served as Rector of the Church of the Redeemer in Sarasota, Florida, for 15 years prior to his election as Bishop. He is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati and The General Theological Seminary in New York City. He married his high-school sweetheart, Donna, 43 years ago. They have three daughters, four grandchildren, and two shih tzus.

Father Maneikis (ma-knee-kiss) is the senior priest of the Diocese of Fort Worth, having been ordained in 1966. He serves as Chaplain of the Union Gospel Mission of Tarrant County. His wife, Mary, is a cellist, and teaches private students. They have three married sons, five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
