Newcomers – Want to learn more about the Episcopal Church and St. Alban’s?  We will welcome our newcomers after the 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. services in the Parlor.

Blood Pressure Checks – Follow the bright pink signs to where the parish nurse will be available from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. to check your blood pressure.

Order of St. Luke – The Order of St. Luke will be in the   Chapel after Communion at the 10:30 service for prayers for healing for those who would like prayers for themselves or others.  If you cannot make it back to the Chapel, please wait by the Baptistry after the 10:30 service for prayers.

Organ Update – Have you thought about remembering your mother with a gift to the Organ Fund? The church will send an acknowledgment to that person, if still alive, of your contribution.  Gifts can be made in honor or in memory of someone and those names will be listed on a plaque attached to the side of the organ case.  The Organ Fund now has $25,430 and we still need $13,175 to order another new organ case from Ross King.

Prayers – Remember to keep praying for the people on your Prayer Cards that you received last fall.  We all need to be praying for each other.

Commitment Cards – If you have not turned in your commitment card for 2008, it is not too late to do so.  You will find blank cards on the welcome desk.

Capital Campaign/Pledge Checks – If you are issuing one check for the Capital Campaign and the operating budget, please indicate how much you want to go to each account in the memo section.

CD Ministry - The 10:30 service is recorded every Sunday. If you would like to order a CD of a particular service, please call the church office.  There will be a $1 charge for each CD ordered.

Christian Education – May 18 will be our last class day for Sunday School.

Camp Crucis Clean-Up Day – Good Shepherd’s Brotherhood of Saint Andrew men’s group is hosting a clean up day for Camp Crucis on Saturday, May 10th beginning at 9:00 a.m.  If you are interested in helping please contact Kitty at 817 573-3343 for more information.

Young Adult Camp – In 2008 Camp Crucis is starting a new camp session for our young adults -  May 15-17.  It will be similar to our regular camp sessions with Mass, theme session, swimming, sports, campfires, service projects and square dancing.  Anyone between the ages of 19 and 23 are welcome to come and enjoy time with their camp friends, counselors and clergy.  The camp session will start at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 15th and end at 5:00  p.m. on Saturday, May 17th.  The cost will be $90.
